About

Back In The Saddle!

I am a Boston based Singer/Songwriter with over 40 years of experience. Born in Paris, France and raised in Massachusetts, my music career has featured multiple CD reviews in Metronome Magazine, a highlight in The Boston Globe, a featured documentary called “Subway Serenade”, and opening at Club Passim for Americana and Country music singer/songwriter Lori McKenna.  In 2010, not long after releasing my "Live at the Dugout" album, I decided to retire the Alvarez, earned my CDL license and launched a career in the trucking industry.

In 2019 I wanted to find purpose and meaning in my day-to-day work and shifted my career focus to Human Services.  My own recovery process has been a "feeder" of my music craft.  In paying it forward, I began writing and performing for others in recovery. Through this process, I found a new focus and style for my writing and believe I have become a much better songwriter because of it!

With encouragement from fellow musicians/artists/creators like Steve Rapson,  Ashley Jordan and Luke MacNeil, I began writing music again and unleashed a cascade of songs and arrangements that flowed endlessly.  My guitar playing has been described as melodic with unique chord progressions that hold the listener with great anticipation.  I aim to write songs from all perspectives of the human experience, with attention to the “moments that slip through the cracks of life”.   My songs are wrought with emotion and are hopeful, reflective and vulnerable.

I am currently wroking full time as a musician, busking the Boston Subway and Cambridge area.  I am sharing my originals at open mics, intimate listening rooms of house concerts, coffee shops and music venues!

Latest News/Blog

I am heading back to Busking in the Boston subway and Cambridge area!  15 years ago, busking was the catalyst for my songwriting and performance developement and I have been called back to my roots!  I am continuing to build my fan base and improve my vocal and song writing skills!  I also have re-ignited my Tik Tok live performances!  I am working on having a consistent schedule for these performances, which will likely include live streams from the streets of Boston so be on the look out!!

At the begining of May 2026, my EP Close to the Sun was recently reviewed by Geoff Wilbur, on Geoff Wilbur's Music Blog.  Geoff reviews music from all genres, and I am grateful for his kind and encouraging words!

Latest Podcast and New Orleans!

Hey Everybody!  Folk Alliance International in New Orleans was great!  I met alot of great people and made new connections!   Incidentally, the airport food in New Orleans is quite good; especially when stuck there for 14 hours watching flight cancellation after cancellation due to the recent snow storm!

Additionally, I had the pleasure of sitting with Dan Cloutier for his podcast The Dan Cloutier Community.  <= Click the link and have a listen to our conversation! I've had the pleasure of knowing Dan for over 20 years, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of his community.  He is an amazing musician and his latest album, “Iceburg” is fantastic!

Road Trip!

Hey Everybody!  My NERFA experience was so phenomenal with creative growth and networking that I left there with intention to make it to the Folk Alliance International event in New Orleans!  I'm super excited to make my way south on January 21st and be a part of this amazing network of musicians!  I have booked a couple of showcases where I will share my new singles; will continue to practice my networking skills (work in progress!) and enjoy greasing the creative wheels during workshops!  Thanks to all who support my music and believe in possibilities.
